Safari tanks are in the process of fabricating a purpose made fairing specifically for their 30ltr tank, should be pretty good, suggest anyone interested should send an Email to hem enquiring about availability so they get a move on, I for one am waiting impatently

No rumour. I emailed Safari 2 weeks ago. They're still in design mode. The intent is to make the fairing fit with the current Safari tank... good move. No word on their timetable.

Post the email - I'll email them. Do you have any pics or anything? will it be like the older DR fairing?
Will it include the headlight or signals?

Email deleted... I'm pretty ruthless at cleaning out my PC. Got no details on styling or features from them, not surprising tho since I didn't ask for any. I'll assume you'll ask... would be great if they had some sneak info. http://www.safaritanks.com.au/home/Contact-Us/Safari-Tanks.html

U.S.A. Safari Tanks contact: = http://safaritanksusa.com/index.php?main_page=contact_us

my message:
On the DRRiders.com board there is talk that you are coming out with a Rallye or Dakar style fairing to go with the DR650 Safari tank. There is a lot of interest in this. Is it true? If so then what details can you give us? will it incorporate the headlight? signals? will it have a clear portion to the screen? etc. Please let us know. Thanks - Crawford~Vegas
