The heavy duty chain guides will be ready next week! :drinks:

Ignore the funky pan-heads and stainless bolts, picture black flat-heads and black flanged bolts.

I notice that your lower rub-block doesn't have that little ridge running down the middle like most other chain guides do.
Does that mean it's not necessary?
Is the width of the passage (where the chain goes through) much wider than the chain itself or is it just wide enough to allow for "some" clearance?

Yeah...I think you know where I'm going with this... topic20023.html :s_biggrin

The passage width is 1.25". I believe the chain measures about 0.95" wide. So that leaves about 0.15" clearance, left and right.

Personally I don't think a little plastic center rib is gonna do much in the long run. Lining the passage walls is a better route. The Warp9 guide has aluminum passage walls.

That's allot!!!

Adding almost a lb on the swingarm!!!!

How am I gonna do those forty foot jumps and not flip backwards???

J/k. It looks allot heavier than that. I think less than a pound is quite manageable.

Oh, and I don't jump. I did it twice on the DR. Never again.
