This one.

Well sumbitch. It has to be my lack of experience then. There is no way I'd be able to ride like that. I would have fallen a dozen times in that video.

I'm not Crash fast, but I have plenty more years of riding/racing experience than you do. So don't feel bad!

Yea, I'm coming up on one year total for motorcycles. My other bike is an old XL250 with I'm going to setup more for the trails. The DR is more of a pavement bike that allows me to explore some dirt roads. I just can't nut up and bomb through the trails like that. Any time I get on the throttle, the front tire slides right out from under me. I end up planting my feet down and jamming my leg. I duck walk all over the place. Gets very frustrating.

You just perfectly described how I felt in the video on stock tires. I hate a front end that doesn't stick. A front tire slide out is the best way to destroy any confidence in me. I can (and have) run a knobbie front and 50/50 rear, back tire sliding all over isn't very bothersome, until you need to get a good drive up a hill or pull the front tire over an obstacle, but instead just spin.

yea, the back tire spinning doesn't really bother me. In a few weeks I'm going to replacing my tires. TXC80 on the front and 805 on the rear. I'm hoping that alleviates some of my issues.

Even though you can't see the lake, the ride went all the way around Lake Winona in the Ouachita National Forest. Nice, short Sunday ride even if hot and dusty.
