I went with the ProTaper Contour CR High Bends 1 1/8" fat bars, I only use 1" risers with them. A good setting for sitting and standing for my 6'-4" frame. I also have lowerd pegs from Procycle. Just about perfect, rox risers would be better but, I'm happy enough with my set up to not spend any more money..

My fat bar adapters arrived today from Procycle so it on to the next configuration. Magura SX bars off a KTM.

I got the fat bars installed with the Protaper adapters from Procycle. You have to substitute the oem bolts for the larger dia. Protaper bolts. this allows for the possibility of a misalignment so make sure everything is lined up before tightening the nuts under the triple clamp. Also the Protaper adapter has 2 positions which allows about 5mm forward or rearward mounting. take that into account with the bars you get. I ended up with Magura SX bars (ex KTM) and the clamps in the forward position. This is the best set up I have tried yet and may be the final solution. It is a more aggressive position and standing up is a good fit for me. The Magura SX is very similar to the KX-Hi bar recommended by many folks on this thread. THANKS! Also the cockpit area looks tidier without the crossbar.

What about Protaper SE CR HI? Just got them last night and installed them. Haven't gotten a chance to ride with them on yet.

Within a week after I got my DR, I tossed the stock bars for a set of Tag T2 1 1/8" aluminum tapered bars with a YZ bend. They work great for me. I'm 6' 1" and I can stand on the pegs very comfortably and the reach is perfect while seated.

Count me in on the Pro-Taper SE's. Great value. OEM suck.

Currently using a ProTaper 7/8 KX Hi bar which is a huge improvement over stock... but I think I'd like to change over to a fat bar to clear up the extra clutter of the crossbrace.

My sentiments exactly...but I do like motocross look the crossbar gives the bike.
