Heavy - that is great. I remember looking at that list before but had forgotten about it. (CRS)
DRRiders is actually getting so big now that I can't keep track of everything anymore!

That is a good problem. Most forums of this format get lot's of "reruns" on items. But at least this one is specific to DR's only so even though you may have to dig a bit, it is all DR info. You might find another nugget while looking.

I also went through the frustrating search for comfortable bars. Like others in this thread I settled on the KX high bend, but they're in the ProTaper Contour 1-1/8" size. I've been happy with them. They're mounted on Rox anti-vibration risers and I have Cycra ProBend handguards fitted.

That set-up looks really good. Do you have a total cost for bars, risers, guards, grips, etc...?

It's been a long time since I bought these items, so I forget exactly what they all cost. But here's a swag:

I got the Rox risers here, but they were cheaper (and on sale) when I bought them for approximately $115.

I got the handlebars from thumpertalk for approx. $60-65, but now their price is $69.99. You probably can get them cheaper on ebay.

The Cycra ProBends handguards with U-clamp mounts were approximately $100 for the complete kit from thumpertalk, and their price is still close to that at $71.96 for the guards and $33.20 for the U-clamps for a total of $105.16. Keep in mind that in order to see thumpertalk's actual price you have to enter the part # at the top right corner of the page and click "Get Price!". Again, though, you may be able to find these items cheaper from sellers on ebay.

The grips are Progrip dual sport model 714. Thumpertalk's Tucker Rocky catalogue shows a price of $10.09, but that catalogue is old. TT's current actual price is $11.39. I really dig the comfort of these grips.

Altogether these items cost a lot, but I acquired them over time as my budget allowed.

Protaper Contour 1 1/8, they are called "Pastrana FMX/ATV race" nice high bend , with protaper mounts. I did ahve to open up the holes in the stock rubber bar mounts as the protaper bolts are a bit larger, but a nice set up.

I just ordered some "fat bar" clamps from Procycle. It seems the KX-Hi dimensions are fitting a lot of people.
I have some very similar sized Magura SX bars from KTM to try. Hopefully that will be good.
Also - I thought I would notice the rubber mounting of the bars but I have not.

I'm 6' and these Tag T2 1 1/8" bars in a YZ bend are very comfortable when standing on the pegs.

I'm 6'3" and the stock bars are comfortable for me, either sitting or standing.

I tried some Thumper Racing risers that I had on my old XR-250 and they were too high. They also made the front end "heavy" feeling when turning, so I went back to stock.

I am 5' 9" and I like the the stockers too. But I am mostly on the road sitting. They feel much better canted forward from how Suzuki angles them.
Now it reminds me of my old school 70's enduros.
