MXROB, I have the app in my phone, as previously stated.

I have found an improvement that is needed though.
Nowhere through the app is there a break down of a TM40 carburettor.
There is the break down instructions of the stock BST carb from the workshop manual. Your break down & mod picture show of the BST carb on your webpage (which I found so useful in the past) along with the FCR-MX carb section.
But there is no mention of the TM40.
Considering that quite a lot of DR riders have TM40's on their bikes, myself included. I think that this should be included in any upgrade of your app.
But thanks for the app, it has saved me money when bargaining with local spare parts supplier. :good:

I have only stock machine info on the app so far. There is a link to my web site and other web sites with more information. If I get some time to add a performance improvement section to the app it will certainly include TM40 and FCR information and breakdowns. Thanks for the feedback.... I promise I'm taking notes.

My app just updated, great stuff I have used it many times already. It's great to be standing around with a bunch of bikers and they are all showing different weather apps and I show them the DR app and they all crowd around to get a look..

Yeah, our lowly low tech machines gained a bit of clout having their own app. :spiteful:

Having a background in audio engineering I should have thought of it first: A local guy used a readily available 2-track audio engineering program to locate the thumping period of his DR400 idling and calculate the exact rpm without a dedicated rpm gizmo: http://www.mybike.gr/topic/73237-%ce%b1%ce%ba%cf%81%ce%b9%ce%b2%ce%ae%cf%82-%ce%b5%cf%8d%cf%81%ce%b5%cf%83%ce%b7-%cf%84%ce%bf%cf%85-%cf%81%ce%b5%ce%bb%ce%b1%ce%bd%cf%84%ce%af-%ce%bc%ce%b5-%ce%bb%ce%bf%ce%b3%ce%b9%cf%83%ce%bc%ce%b9%ce%ba%cf%8c-%ce%b5%cf%80%ce%b5%ce%be%ce%b5%cf%81/page__view__findpost__p__1784097

So MxRob, suggestion for PRO feature:
Some kind of audio-analysis band pass period measuring rpm calculating rpm function: Just hold your phone very close to the engine's head to have the idle rpm readily displayed on the screen (upside down orientation so you can point the microphone closer).
Upgrade to PRO at $0.99 could provide funding for an iPhone version :spiteful: and allow us to properly show our gratitude for your time, at last!

I have the HS40 manual on my phone and tablets also.
