I fitted mine with Pro Taper trials high bars. Got the idea because these are what are on my Ossa trials bike. They are close to stock bend but about an inch higher. Seems like a natural position when riding. Easy to install and look pretty cool also. They also come in both black and silver. Got mine from a vendor on ebay and they were cheap. Just search trials handlebars. Hope it helps.

I installed the ProTaper SE Henry/Reed bend bar and transferred over the Moose handguards from my factory bars. I trimmed the factory rubber expanders and ground down the nuts so they would fit inside the ProTaper's and reinstalled the factory end weights. I've not noticed any increase in vibration, in fact the bike is actually smoother.

That's likely why my experience was different. I used the Moose's provided expanders for aluminum bars. But I even tried the Vibronators with no luck. This made me assume it was the bars themselves not the hand guard attachment method.
