Hey, did anyone tried the SC low vs the standard?
I would love to be a little closer to the ground but not on the account of comfort.
The low version looks like it would keep u seated real good but less foam means less padding?

without being near mine, it's basically the same as the stock seat until you get about 7-10 inches back from the tank. then it is 3" wider. The entire seat is much flatter.

Where I can find this original seat cover, the black and blue?
Thanks

Hey Shmoo, I got the low version, but I can only compare to the stock seat. With less padding, it's much more comfortable. However, it put my legs in more of a squat position so they tend to spread out more. I find myself clamping my legs to the bike which can get sore after a while. I plan to lower the pegs to see if it helps. You can see my post on NOV 15, 2012 on this thread for pics.

Tried the standard height and tall versions. Both were great. Not familiar with the commuter version :dunno: But it looks interesting. I wouldn't suggest it for any serious off road action IMHO

If I was only riding pavement I'd be interested....maybe. I bought the DR for its ability to travel off road. I think the seat is going to limit your ability to move around for and aft on the seat. Coming from a standing to seated position could be interesting too if traveling on a gnarly road. I have their standard seat cover and foam and very satisfied with it.
