That's nice right there! There's the solution to your wheelie visibility problem Auzzie Todd!

So that's with Lexan? Did you heat it, or just bend it?

Polycarbonate or lexan.
Heated bend with resistance wire, about 30 volts wire glows red hot and made a jig to keep wire off lexan about 5mm.
Once the lexan is a glassy colour you can bend by hand along the line created by the wire.
Direct copy of your plans, although I have cut the top off by about 50mm.
Thanks for posting up the plans on adv rider, I did this about 5
Months ago.

I've tried twice to make one and both just cracked like the plastic was brittle and I wasn't even bending it that much. So I guess I will have to buy a commercial one instead. Great Ideal and I like the looks too.

What were you trying to make it out of?

The basket I used was cold folded and hit with a rubber mallet a few times.
I think it was the same basket as the fmlstewart original.

Too cool, you are amazing, I'm off to Walmart in the morning. have you tried to get the air to flow over your head? How high would that be? It kind of reminds me of the early Dakar bikes. Thanks for sharing with us. Gregg
