Great product but you do need to really crank down on the thumb screws to keep them from moving over rough terrain. I'm running one on a Husky but will be putting them on the DR as well.

You've got it mounted on the wrong side

I've just ordered one of these too, had a ram mount and arm laying around not doing anything. We have to mount the mirror on the RHS over here which means it's screwed into the brake reservoir bracket, which I don't want to break off when I run into a tree. I can carry a spare clutch perch (I have needed one before on my XR, but it didn't have barkbusters), but carrying a spare brake cylinder is a bit much. Better to prevent the damage in the first place by bolting the mirror to the bars, not to the alloy bracket. Hope it works out ok.

Put about 1000 miles of DS use on mine so far. Working well and remember the dual use.

Very cool. I think you guys convinced me on these. What Ram arm lengths did you go with? The 2 inch or the 3 inch?

I went with 3. It put them out a bit more and actually allowed me to have them become "bar end" looking, down outta the way.
