Have you guys set the rear shock on the lower setting when you go to a full SM setting? I think I should lower the rear to factory low setting and raise the forks approximately 1" with my current 19" front.

What do you think?

I've been running the 19" front for 4 years now with stock suspension settings. 100/90/19 on 2.15 Excel front and 130/80/17 on stock rear rim. No issues :good: . Currently running 32psi on the rear and 27psi on the front. Dunlop 607's both ends.

Running my Procycle build 17r/19f "adventure touring" wheelset with Michelin Anakees and stock suspension set up. Handles wonderfully (MUCH better than the stock wheelset!). :s_thumbsup

Just clocked 15000kms with my Anakees 2. Have raised the fork tubes 7mm from flush and this bike rails in corners and weaves through traffic like no other!!

You guys running the Anakees, are you running 130/80 on the rear or the 120/90? I'm going to be in need of new rubber sometime this summer and may change back to 120/90 on the rear as I feel it may give me a more neutral feel in the corners + I believe it would be a bit lighter tire overall.

I use the same 130/80 woth the 100/90 front but I have a 2.5" rear rim. I would give the 120/90 a try with your stock rim, will raise the rear a bit but and will make handling quicker I think.

Thanks for the input. In checking the Anakees in 100/90/19 and 120/90/17 It appears they're a bias tire. My OEM stuff was Bias although have been running radial Dunlop 607's which I've been told are now discontinued. Hoping to find additional info on the Anakees such as dimensions. Doing my best to keep riding with a back issue and was hoping a taller tire would handle the stutter bumps better.

What do you mean by Bias?

The dimensions are calculated by multiplying 120 X .9 =108mm (Tire Height)... 130 X .8 = 104mm...etc
