I'm also new to the dual sport scene. I've only had my dr for about 6 months. Life took another turn though, and my free time comes few and far between. The only seat time I get on my dr anymore is commuting and running errands that doesn't require me to drive the truck. If I ever get to where I have some free weekends I'd love to get out and do some real trail riding, maybe post up a north ga drriders's meet and greet or something. Wishful thinking for me! :sorry:

WOW ! The GA section is a pretty sleepy section .

I'd not mind running into a couple of DS'er sorts to just bump casually around country roads FS roads in say the Oconee USFS areas .

Lemme know .

Try the Illinois section if you want to see a crappy one. :bored:

All I have is guys from the Chicago area with GS1000's that like to ride to Starbucks and back. I end up doing the bulk of my riding up in Wisconsin.

Well , not exactly a spectacular ride report or anything , but at least I got my new girl out and at least put her through some dirt road paces . I epxected to hit some mud due to some recent , but brief rains . Thank goodness it had dried up . Everything I was one was that world famous Georgia red clay . In fact , the road you access that area on is called " CLAY ROAD " .

Anyway , she ran wonderful and although I did stop and have a full order of potato boats lunch at the one an only stop out that way , I only snapped one photo along the way . Stopped to make a gps adjustment and shot back down the road from when I have comce . No waterfalls , no native tribal villager sorts , no caves ...... not really much of nuttin' but dirt roads . But it felt awesome anyway . It's pretty country side but nothing torave over.

Just saw this section. Obviously not on the computer too much. Have an 09 that I really enjoy. If you are in the Atlanta/N GA area you should look up Atlanta Adventure Riders and North GA Adventure Riders on the Meetup site. Anybody wanting to ride, post up here or PM me.
