Just ordered the Jimmy Button in titanium. Was stuck between the street fighter bend which had more pull back but seened too narrow at 755mm compared to 807mm of the Jimmy Button...Thanks anyway

Can you do us a favor and measure those OEM bars when you take them off? I have searched the internet hard for a good solid answer and can't find it. I would have thought it would be in the DR650 Wiki?

The problem is that my bike came with a renthal 773 (CR low I think) but I had ridden a freinds and liked the stock much better, although it was a bit low for my liking.

I would also like the real dimensions of the stock DR650 bend but nobody seems to know them.

I have stock bars in the garage somewhere. How do we actually measure the bend?

The three dimensions which are important are : Sweep, rise and width

You lay the bars on a bench or table, facing down with the cross bar touching the bench surface, you measure the distance from the bench to the bar ends, that is the pull back or sweep, then you place the bars as they would be mounted on the bike perpendicular to the bench surface and you measure the distance from the bench to the bar ends and that is the rise. The width is measured end to end.

Hope its clear.
