I wired my driving light LED right to the battery as well, by way of a switch of course, and added an inline fuse to help protect everything. For one lamp pulling such a small load, a 3 amp buss fuse is enough, with 2 lights, maybe go with a 7.5. It may be too much but it wouldn't be terrible. Good idea to get a fuse in there somewhere.

My 3 speed is insanely bright, about 3 times better than the stock high beam.

I mounted it as a CYCLOPS above the stocker. Love it ! :bumps:
