Hey all,

Just stoppin' in to say hey. Got a 2002 DR650 about 4 months ago and haven't seemed to be able to get off the thing. She's flat black with a procycle jet kit (didn't do the full airbox mod they suggested, just drilled some holes in the access panel), K&N air filter (thing is like flonase for my DR), 80/20 shinkos, got a DG O-series coming in the mail tomorrow. Well besides everyone knowing that my weekend will be full of pissing of my neighbors with the new muffler; I'm from VA, got enough flat twisty dirt and rock to really give my Suzi a real test of her mettle.

Plan on painting her a nice flat chevy orange, so I'll post some before and after pics that aren't the high res ones I have now.

By the way, anyone know a little about header pipe painting?

Cheers!

Basham

Welcome. Many here have polished the factory header. Some have wrapped them and yet some have painted. Take a peek over in the mod section. :good:

Welcome aboard. Gorgeous riding country in your area indeed. After we got "bored" of going to Deals Gap trips, we did many motorcycle trips to Marion, VA to hit the twisties and mountains. Love it there. (i know its a ways from Richmond, but still...)
