Well folks, this time I experienced, for the first time, the experience of driving my bike in extreme conditions.

I explored a very muddy area, (almost a swamp), due to heavy rains that have fallen in the past few days.

My new tires MAXXIS (70% mud 30% tarmac) was pulling great up to a point, after a short while they were covered with thik mud and driving became really complicated.

Unfortunately, I'm new in town and still can not find other people who have DR650`s or something similar, so we can ride in similar conditions...... At one point :bumps: , I fell into a ditch :reallyshocked: and had to fight myself, more than half an hour to get out of that hole the more than 150 kilos the bike weights.

Here I leave a few pictures. The next weekend will surely return to the same place to take revenge ... haha! :woohoo:

Comments, suggestions and tips are welcome.....

Have you ever ridden in a former brick clay-pit in comparable conditions? Don´t. My KTM 525 with good tires stuck upright, the tires looked like mud-slicks. I had to wait for a second guy to get the bike out of the mud - no chance even at <130 kg. Took me more money to get bike, boots and else steam-washed than I spent for fuel ...

LOL, you are right, dear friend "El Capitan" ... I have never tried to ride my bike in a former brick clay-pit, but I am sure that this mud was very similar to the clay that you mention. Sludge was not fun, but dangerous. this tipe of mud in Ecuador is called "Cangahua" is similar to clay, very sticky and slippery ..... I'm definitely going back this Saturday for revenge .... haha! :bumps:

Glad you guys liked the pictures... wait until next Monday for more ...

In the second video, I love how that cow turns and gives the ol' "WTF?" look. Awesome.
