I have a ICON Variant and love it so far. Kinda a comprimise not unlike everything associated with a dual sport. It has tons of ventilation and a toolless removable faceshield if you need to wear goggles. I was lucky enough to find a older model in stock at the local Suzuki dealer on sale for $135. Ya I look like a video game avitar(Halo 3) but it's functional. My 2 cents worth.

Tear offs come in multiple packs all seperate with a layer of tissue paper between each one.
The idea of one tear off is not so much for roost protection but at the end of the day you do not need to clean the actual lense as it is not dirty.
In my opinion no matter how careful you are every time you clean the lense you will scratch it even if it only a tiny bit it will get scratched.
I have to clean my lens probably every three or four rides and that is usually only if it gets wet.
