After our reunion with Crawford and Photo Op we continued on toward our lunch stop
Image
A little shade at Murphy's Hogback made a great spot to stop
Image
It's hard to beat the view from the front door of the outhouse up there
Image
Not too bad for a "Point and shoot" camera zoomed out that far!
Image
Realizing we had ground to cover we limited our stops on the back half so we would be back before dark
Image
Plus it's a lot easier to keep track of Crawford when we're moving
Image
After his "Damn Hippy" encounter Crawford promised to stay close to Rich
Image
Which just meant Rich got to ride in Crawford's dust the rest of the day
Image
They have outhouse every 10 miles along the trail, "Navigation by Crapper", my personal favorite!
Jack grades the trail every Spring, takes him 9 weeks to get all the way around

Image
Our final climb out to the highway, the trail winds through that section and every turn seemed to be off chamber

Just gorgeous and amazing! I am sooooooo jealous. After showing the wife this thread, she says I need to go next year! Sweet, I got the "kitchen pass". Anyone from the Midwest want to team up for travel on this next year? Reminds me of all our Deals Gap trips on the sport bikes. It's never too early to plan and dream right? You guys have inspired me. Damn I hate Wisconsin cold weather. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Great stuff...sorry I missed this one. I'm already saving vacation time for next year.
