My wife often tells me that I "shouldn't let things that I have no control over get under my skin". Well, shove it where the sun don't shine Honey Bun, 'cause some stuff just gets to me.

So, what is it in day to day life that gets on your nerves?

Let me list a few of mine:

1.) People "pacing" one another on the highway. Often this will be two cars traveling at slightly, slightly, over the speed limit, driving side by side for mile after mile...usually with about 7,341,908 cars backed up behind them and 4,398 clear miles of road ahead of them. I swear, if this isn't just cause for involuntary sterilization, what is? :s_mad

2.) People who can't decide on anything for themselves and always have to poll the masses for their next move/purchase. What tires/handlebars/seat/oil/bike/car/toilet paper should I buy? Come on. Get off your A$$, do some F#$&ING research, grow a pair, make a decision and live with it. :s_mad

3.) I'm, usually, pretty tolerant of forum grammar and spelling (for a curmudgeon anyway), but I can not understand how people constantly misuse break and brake. Come on people, it's just not that difficult. :s_mad

Hopefully, you have good brakes...

...so you can use your bike's brakes...

...so your bike doesn't break...

...and force you to take a break...

note: Please understand that this is a semi-tongue-in-cheek post and not intended to offend anyone, not even my wife. :s_wink

Did someone switch your decaf this morning bro?

Ah yes, a "bitch" thread. Ah luvs bitch threads. Had one going on the old board, matter-o-fact.

The 'pacing' thing might be explained by the use of cruise control set to similar speeds, and the laziness of the left lane driver to depress his accelerator to get past quicker.

What gets me is every time I go to pass a line of trucks, one of the bastards always pulls out in front of me suddenly thus causing me to hit my brakes (to avoid any breaks  ) and then the SOB takes forever to pass. And have to reset my frikkin' cruise control AGAIN.

Oh, and don't get me started on television. TV is loud, obnoxious, shallow, annoying and mind-numbingly STUPID. All of it.

Sitcoms are the worst. Take away the idiotic laugh tracks and the 'jokes' fal flat. Just a bunch of dolts sitting around a kitchen/office/living room/apartment and bitching/whining quipping/sniping at each other. STUPID.

And how many frikkin' CSIs and Law & Orders do we need? Are the networks simply incapable of coming up with something other than yet another frikkin' cop show? Besides yet another doctor or yet another lawyer show that is. Unbelieveable.

I used to enjoy some programs on NatGeo and Discovery, but even those have become unwatchable with the extreme over-use of multi-flash images and swooshing sound effects. Might as well just point a strobe light at my face. I need a bigger-screen TV for this crap? Forget it.

Television is the prime culprit in the dumbing down of America. Hands down.

Naw... I don't have to reset it when I hit the gas to pass. Just when I hit the "breaks".

Is there a specific way to get off of my a$$? any ideas? anyone? I really cant decide.

Also, what are your ideas on "growing a pair".. does using fertilizers/chemicals help? If so which brand?
Can we do a poll on growing a pair please..

Sorry. "Reality" TV makes sitcoms look brilliant, by a long shot.

I vote for organic fertilizer for " growing a pair".

Folks that think they have the right to break the speed law at will, all while riding my a$$ while I pace the car next to me & exercise my right to go the speed limit in a lane of my choice that my taxes pay for.

Actually Heavy, I'm with ya on all 3.

I'll add....those who don't think waiting in long traffic lines applies to them so they use every last inch of an on ramp (while "merging" into stopped traffic at 30) so they don't have to wait with the rest of us. The last minute dive in causes a brake light accordian, making the traffic jam worse.

I can't tell ya the last time I used my cruise control on freeways here. Way too much traffic.
