Quick update from my phone....hit Eugene OR finally!....had a small accident earlier involving a bee up my sleeve....panicd and ended up dumping my bike at about 20 on the shoulder of the road....not 1 person stopped to help me pick up my bike in Oregon....in CA I stop for a rest and people pull over to ask if I'm ok. I don't like Oregon anymore :diablo:

You made the mistake of leaving Weed without bringing any with you for those in Oregon. They can sense that stuff.

Safe travels!

Hey thanks guys....yeah I think it's earplug time :)
Woke up feeling like I got stuck between the mudflap and tire of a semi truck....wow I HURT!
Packing up the bike and getting ready to shoot for Portland OR.
Wish me luck!

+1 on the earplugs! Wish I would have worn them more often in my younger days, maybe I wouldn't be quite as deaf today! But the bright side is I can ignore the wife and have a reasonable excuse. ......"No, honey, I didn't wash the car, I thought you said go to the bar" :sarcastic: ........ And the feeling of soreness you get will go away after a couple of days on the road. Just make sure you stretch when you are getting fuel, at bathroom breaks, etc, and you'll be good to go. Sorry to hear about your incident in Oregon, sorrier to hear them sum-bitches wouldn't help you! :shoot: Glad that there wasn't much damage and that you are OK. Keep the reports and the pics coming!

Are we there yet?

Very cool of the park rangers to let you work off your camping fee. I think that would be a good policy for all state/national campgrounds, we'd have a lot cleaner parks! :good:

No nice people in Oregon!? What about all of us DR fanatics at ProCycle! Really, there are some great folks here. We are in the Eugene sister city Springfield, sorry you didn't stop by and tell us about your trip. Maybe next time! Sounds like a great ride!
