As a teaser for the follow-up story on the father-daughter ride, here are a few pics of the DR on Kenneday Peak. It's and old USFS fire lookout at 10,880 feet above sea level. The daughter's NX125 gave up the ghost about 10,000 feet. The NX is jetted for about 6000 feet, and just wouldn't pull the hill anymore. So we parked it and she jumped on the back of the DR and it hauled both of us up the rocky, rutted jeep road the rest of the way to the summit. We had a great ride, seeing lots of animals and just generally enjoying the awesome Wyoming scenery. The summit provided incredible views in all directions. The DR never missed a beat!

Great pictures! Looks like a place I'd like to visit someday.

My DR still has stock jetting and I've had it up to 13K feet altitude - no problems.

Heya neighbor. I'm from Cheyenne, but work for a company in Pueblo, so I'm through the Springs a couple times a month. 11 k is as high as mine's been, but it was thumping along with no problems as all! As a side note, it's good to see someone relatively close. Maybe we can get some of the Wyoming and Colorado riders together next summer for a ride. Tons of good rides available in both states. Let me know if you're interested.
