Gottcha...I can see how as this site grows the search function becoming more and more of a challenge to find what it is your looking for

How often does someone ask about every modification you've done to your bike? Usually, people are looking at specific mods. You could always put a little text file on your desktop. If someone asks, you can open the file, copy and paste to your response on the forum.

Not much over here but on another site I would get PM's on the mods list Should I delete my mods list in my sig to prevent every one of my post's from appearing in someones else's non related search? My sig contains just about every possible search topic.

I never intended to cause any trouble or hard feelings. I saw your post about increasing the available space for the signature lines and wanted to let people know about the potential pit-falls.

As we know, this whole forum thing is free speech. Ryde is the one that sets the laws here.

You didn't cause any trouble at all, and certainly no hard feelings....LOL. I never even considered the adverse effect it would have on search criteria. I'm not sure the membership numbers/number of threads here are high enough at this point in time to cause major grief. If it does become a problem I will delete it to make the site flow better. My sig was more of a monkey see monkey do kind of thing. I saw others listing their mods and thought it was a good idea

I have an idea you could try.

If there is no limit on Image size, you can create a jpeg or something similar with all the mods listed. (640X200 or something similar.) (Probably type it all up and take a screenshot)
Below the image, you can add plain links from the forum as Link1 Link2 etc

That way you can avoid showing up in the search.

An example would be kernel's sig. I've been meaning to do it myself, but I had to blow my money to fix a car and have to wait on saving it back up. :nea:

Kernels sig was my idea. We did that already and I changed it back to just text for now until I can come up with something concise..
