Bottom end of the shock looks like a Cogent Mojave. I have the Pro version on my DR. Cogent sent it with an Ohlins spring on it.

LOL

It's a 1968 Jeepster Commando... another project.

4.3L Chevy V6, 700R4 and a 208 Transfer case, working on Toyota Axles... the seats are Ford and the dash is homemade with VeeThree instruments... rollbar is also home-made. Thee are some other oddities and it is not a cream puff, it is an article of usage!

It's what I do with my 30 minutes of spare time once a week!

File comment: The dash during "fitment"... made from 1/2" Poplar wood and then clear coated.

You will like that shock if it has the right spring for your weight/use. I have not looked at the bearings on my 07 yet but need to learn how to do that. I am on the DR maintenance learning curve. Bearings, carb, front suspension, etc on my bucket list. Have done the valve check.

Some more shiny stuff magically appeared...

This is actually funny, I found these racks on flea-bay and started researching. Found out the company is from San Diego, so I looked a little further and they are not a mile away from my shop.
Nice guys, to boot!
Called and asked whether I could pick up and that was no problem.
For the price ($105) these racks seemed a bargain and again, some exceptional work, fit and finish (powdercoat). Came with the needed screws and (just holding them up to the bike) they line up perfectly and feel very sturdy.
They will be the home base for my Moose Bags.

Bike is back together and I am waiting for some jets so I can finish the tuning process. Runs nicely already, but there is some more umph to be had. I also haven't added and other farkles yet. Just don't really have the time, seeing how one of my cars needs atention.
