Serious, lawyer up.

I called a few attorneys. They said there is nobody to sue. I need to hire an investigator, which are extremely expensive. I don't want to focus on that right now.

What, they never got the driver or the license plate? Police don't go investigate?

You'd assume that would be easy with a few witnesses....

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. It was a hit and run. Guy had no plates. He probably just bought the truck used.

Scuuuba_Steve, super sorry that you have had to go through this. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. There are so many good people in this world. It sucks that there are those few real turds.

Thanks brother. And I agree. Ultimately, it's my own fault for even challenging him with my camera. I thought that would make him stop.

Heal swiftly and well.

It's not your fault someone attacked you. Focus on healing.

Sorry to hear about your encounter with such a low-life. Anyone inclined toward toward that kind of behavior, you can bet he'll be getting his due soon or later. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.

Incredible. For those unfamiliar, some drivers have some sort of rage against legal lane sharing. I've only done it a few times and had someone shut the lane down on me once. Plenty of stories of near misses from buddies here.

Steve - I'll PM you my phone number. Be happy to handle parts swap stuff or whatever else is needed to take that burden off ya. I'm retired, have tools and a decent working knowledge of the DR.

I'm also retired LE, so may be able to assist in that area. I currently work very part time for a private inv firm, but will do what I can "off the books" without jeopardizing the business.

Heal up & gimme a call.
