30 wasn't scary. None of my birthday's made me think "wow, I'm getting old."

I don't even notice my birthdays anymore. My kids' birthdays on the other hand, holy crap. Oldest turned 7 this past summer. I swear he just came along a year or two ago. That's when I realize I am getting older extremely rapidly. Time has been on fast forward from age 28 to my current 36. I want to slow it down!

I want to be a kid when I grow up.

I'm 48; I have a Significant Other; we have a small "germ colony" known as our daughter; she's 8. I am often accused of acting like a 7 year old.

Who has time to be afraid...? :s_biggrin

my dad (rip) liked to give advice . . .

when I turned 30 he said " if you thought the first 30 went by fast , wait until the next 30 go by".

I'm turning six oh next year and I gotta say , he was right ( again ) !

enjoy the ride crash , happy birthday !
