Just got a lighted switch from China. Has three leads from it, but no instructions. The leads are colored:

1. Pink(ish)
2. Blue
3. Black

Pretty sure I know what black is. Problem is that I tried to wire it in to my ADV Monster M30 LED's... and damned near burned up the wiring... got warm then I saw a wisp of smoke and quickly disconnected everything.

I had wired the Pink(ish) wire to the bikes power, and wired the Blue wire to the positive for the M30 leads, and then wired the Black wire to the M30 leads and the bikes ground. Nothing worked in that wiring configuration.

So I took a chance and connected the Blue lead and the Pink(ish) lead to the M30 positive leads and bikes power... M30 LED's worked with the switch then, but then warmth, wisp of smoke and no-go...

What is the switch amp rating? May need to run a relay or get a higher amp switch.
