Went out for a three hour tour on the dirt roads around home (Last weekend). Bike still has a hesitation in mid range so changed
needle clip to third position (yesterday). Test rode close to home and feels better yet again. Will need a good long run to satiate my
throttle hand. I am thinking I want more from this carb than it can give. As quoted above I will be saving for this as I am
a bit spoiled from my GSXR1100 it has Mikuni flat slide pumper carbs (I installed years ago). Instant Ba-boom and smooth hard pull from these guys compared to the stock carbs (CV). Night and day difference in throttle response.
One thing I noticed though is the spring that holds down the needle has no top of needle protruding through the plastic D ring to keep
spring locked on it ? Third clip now, so lower in the slide. Edit : "I will do this" Sounds kind of scary not to now that I am thinking about it. - Should I file down my spare old D ring to get that spring locked in place?
It gets better, as now the float bowl has a weep at the "O" ring from me in and out of there a bizzilion times. My fault to boot.
 :Horse
