My current favorite motorcycle good laugh is the guy in the woods having a mental break down, throwing a temper tantrum having a total hissy fit, throwing his gear everywhere. I get to see this usually two or three times a day at a muddy event, but a couple weeks ago I got to witness this in the sand when a buddy of mine that is a fairly new rider but has two 2017 factory edition ktms continually kept tucking the front end in the soft beach sand.....he exploded walked off cussing ripping his gear off and throwing in off in the trees, it was hysterical and I got a bunch of brand new TLD gear for free :2_thumbsup:

OK - So I'm out this weekend still shaking down the bike on 2 or 1 lane backroads and I come up to a state road. I stop to get my bearings to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. Pull over in the gravel next to some grass to peek around the corner. I put my right foot down in the grass except the grass was 1 foot deep (but level with the gravel). I proceed to take a slow motion spill to the ground. A car did pass me exactly when this happened but I sure he laughed for the next mile or so seeing it unfold. It must have looked like a old western movie where the rider is making his horse lay down to hide. Embarrassment and adrenaline made the DR come back up like a Schwinn Stingray. :whistling:

Sand riding.... heck, riding in general looks easy to all but riders who know better. "I just buy a KTM and some cool riding gear and instant expert" Of course even seasoned riders have their bad days. Newbies riders are as entertaining as boat launch ramps on your local river. :lurk:
