 Post subject: No spark!!!

Stator changed. Check
NEW stator resistance tested. Check
NEW pulsar coil. Check.
NEW pulsar coil resistance tested. check.
NEW to me known good CEO. Check
NEW to me known good coil. Check

Get VOLTAGE from supply coil to cdi. Check.
Checked ALL kill switch, kickstand switch connections and wires for continuity.
Tried supply coil invert wires. Check
Tried pulsar coil.invert wires. Check.

Had weird no starts for last 6 months randomly.

Get veryis voltage coming from pick up coil.
No voltage can be detected from CDI to ignition coil.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a resistor in the ignition switch leading to one of the CDI ground leads. I think the bike will still crank, even when the resistor is faulty/has a bad connection, but the CDI will not produce a spark.

-edit- oops, sorry, didn't notice this was the pre 96 forum. My post is probably completely incorrect then.
