Hello all,

I've been riding since age 12 starting with a Honda 185s pull start three wheeler with no shocks. I very quickly learned not to jump to high as the balloon tires would bounce you in any and every direction. Then I moved on to a Kawasaki KX125. I did a little racing with other kids my age in the river bottoms close to where I lived. Once I got my M1 license I began going through many different motorcycles looking for something compatible to me. I went from a Ninja 600R to a Vulcan 750 to a Harley 883 to a BMW F800ST and then to a BMW K1200LT. I finally landed on the DR three days ago and I think I finally found my soul mate.

Man is this machine a lot of fun to ride. I'm working my way through the break in period. I only have 50 miles to go until the first oil change and valve check. As soon as the break in period is over I will be riding on the roads and trails in the mountains and river bottoms in Yuba County (Northern California). I haven't spilled her yet, but I'm a noob at this and it will only be a matter of time.

That's just a little about me. I hope to talk to ya'all more in the future.

Poohbear
