Hi All, I noticed the "nautilus" chain adjusters on my DR are bent around the hole in a kind of (slight) spoon shape,
I suppose from that time when the tire shop tightened the axle and later realized they left one of the spacers out...
Do you guys think those are OK or should I for any reason replace them? Functionality when regulating the chain tension seems to be still the same.

They should be okay if not distorted too much. You could also take them off and use a hammer to reshape them or if you have access to a big vise squeeze them flat.

This.

The question is, how much does the adjuster contact the nibs?

3/4 or better, no sweat.

1/2 maybe do something about it...
