Important message from Marvin!

" Attention all participants:
Please be sure your bike is equipped with a spark arrestor which is one of the requirements listed on the flyer. The woods are extremely dry and with the low humidity we have a spark arrestor is MANDATORY !
Also, make sure you can meet the other requirements listed on the flyer as well. If you think you cannot meet any of the requirements, we have no problem giving you a full refund.
Tech inspection will be on the starting line as usual. So be prepared.
Thanks for coming to support our fundraiser.
Ye ole grumpy trail boss,
Marvin"

"13th Annual Armenia Dual Sport Report

Well riders, you knocked the ball out of the park this year. The final tally and funds raised after expenses was $14,728.38. Church members find that unbelievable that a small country church can raise that amount of money, but I don’t. When the idea started some 13+ years ago, I knew that the dirt bike community was a giving bunch when you combine something they dearly love with a charitable cause.

In speaking for my beloved church, we gratefully appreciate your giving and your donations. Some were quite large and some were small, but one thing for sure is that we know it came from the heart. Our grateful appreciation once again for your participation and giving.

Now to a few notes of interest:
We served breakfast to 115 and BBQ lunch to 208.
Out of 187 riders leaving the starting line, 112 of those were on those Clemson(hehehe).. err…Orange colored bikes otherwise known as KTM.
We had riders from as far away as Tampa, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and even one from Texas with North Carolina having the most representation with 92. High poker hand was won by Richard Goff, low hand was won by Daniel McOrmand.

I’m sure some of you drove home in a blinding rainstorm because it started raining here around 3pm and when it stopped around midnight we had over 5 inches of the liquid stuff. Thankfully it held off until then. God is good.

Once again, thank you so much and God Bless.
Ye Ole Trail Boss
Marvin"
