Well almost anyway. Covers 05-09 but we know it's all the same for the most part. Also no worries about superseded part numbers as ordering with these numbers will bring up the new numbers on Suzuki's parts systems. It doesn't list the newer model seal retainer... :pardon:

There's nothing in the document about copyright... and I found it searching on the internet in three different locations. Of course if Suzuki asks me to remove it from my website as they did with the service manual I will quickly comply.... however I can't imagine it being a real profit maker for them.

FYI 4.38MB

:good: It appears to be comprehensive, a Suzuki publication in English. I notice the bookmarks include the corresponding Japanese in parenthesis. If needed I can make this accessible with the manuals on my server.

Thanks for that mxrob and even better that my DR is a K6 model.

It's already been downloaded and saved.

As my first trade was as an Automotive Replacement Parts Specialists, parts manuals are gold.
Times have sure changed in the parts industry. Moved from expensive printed books to microfiche and now onto digital. Still hard to add a hand written note to an online digital copy.

The parts manual can often give good schematics when pondering over the interrelationships or assembly needed.
Can't beat a good exploded view.

Not at all, these designations are in the Suzuki service manual in a couple of places. For example, near the beginning of our corrected version on the third page, under "Supplements" it shows:

DR650SE models V/W/X/Y correspond to the years '97/'98/'99/'00

While K1/K2/K3/K4/K5/K6/K7 correspond to 2001/'02/'03/'04/'05/'06/'07/'08 (no K8? , must be a typo)

And K9 is a 2009
:s_smile
