now that the DR650 project bike is in good shape, a lot of viewers said they wanted to see it being used on some of our harder tracks.... so i updated the life insurance and took the big bushpig for a quick spin on one of our favourite properties. trying to do rear wheel hops and tractor tires on this beast can leave skidmarks on the undergarments. :D

your vids are great!

I cant remember if you done something your suspension or not. alot of the trails around me are giant rocks uneven, ruts etc. you spend more time concentrated on your bike than the trail. But ive recently upgraded, i'll have to wait for next year to try it out.

its good to see the dr pivot turn like that. its a heavy bike but its smooth

Hey, you should remove some engine mods as the beast obviously got too strong for you mediocre riding skills: Your crotch seems quite wet on some shots!!

thanks 3shot, had a lot of fun filming that. this ride was to test out the second level of suspension mods done by FFRC, they have invented a trick little combination of the emulator and intiminator with the best of both worlds - works with the stock springs and oil, just drops in under the springs and is adjustable.

the prototype worked really well for aggressive riding (or i figure a fully laden DR with safari tank) but was a bit harsh on small bumps for everyday riding so it still needs a few tweaks before going into production. but should be brilliant when it's all done.

they even had a guy doing a 60 foot jump on a motocross track to test out the latest suspension mods.... crazy. i'll report on the new mods soon, the vid below was the first basic mods FFRC did.
