Darren from the Illawarra Dual Sport Riders group, and Brett from the Bateman's Bay & South Coast Motorbike Riders group have got together to organise this event... all are welcome.
It should be a good event, the location looks great for a camping weekend. (y)
There are some dirt roads involved, information is in the attached "picture".... click on it to view it in full.

So Doug .... any thoughts on attending this?

I'm thinking, weather permitting, I'll probably end up down there some time, even if I dont camp or join in the "rally".

My life is not my own ATM Andrew. Very difficult to arrange time for myself. So ... no, I didnt make it.
I've camped there dozens of times, and myself and Spot rode down there a few months back. Great spot, eh?

How many were there? Did you go bush, or stick to the fire trails? Pics?

That's no good mate.
I just rode the main trail in and stayed at the rally site chatting all day. There was probably 20 to 30 people there which was a good turn out for the first rally. The ride in did show up how bad my rear suspension is though. The shockie is at FFRC at the moment getting a revalve and a heavier 8.5kg spring as opposed to the 7.5kg spring that was recommended by a Sydney based suspension "expert". I'm looking forward to getting it back and trying it out.

Cheers
Andrew

I had to work. I was very disappointed. I am sort of a loner, but I would of loved it.
Oldmanriver showed me the area.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from Doug.
(Pillions aside) motorcycling is essentially a solo sport.
Nevertheless I'm glad you were handy to help out on that snotty little section going up Wandean Rd :2_thumbsup:
