The rear signals on my 2010 650 DR are LED. The fronts are stock. I installed a 5.3 L Acerbis fuel tank and decided to replace the front turn signals with smaller LED signals as opposed to making brackets and moving the stock signals forward in order to not impact the tank on hard over turns? I'm electrically incompetent so before I cut or replace any of the stock wiring I'm asking, Do I replace the stock turn signal relay with the MotoLED under the seat? Then is it just a case of cutting the wires from the front stalks and using the included push pin adapters supplied with the LED signals also from MotoLED? I'm really picture oriented if you know what I mean?
Cheers
Mark

I am stumped? My bike has LED rear turn signals and had stock front turn signals. I cut the connectors off the front signals and am using them on my new D45-60-207 DRC LED signals. I have also replaced the stock flasher with a DRC IC Flasher Relay 15A. For the moment I'm jumping the Flasher Relay before I cut the connector wired into the bike. When I turn the bike on and turn a signal on I get a quick single flash and then nothing? As I said the bike came to me with the back LED's installed and I was experiencing a quick flashing when turned on. I was told the new relay would slow this down to a normal? speed. I confirmed the hot side of all connections making sure I have the ground side correct? HELP!

I have no input on the LED wirings but making turn signal relocation brackets is as simple as buying a 3/4" x 1/8" piece of aluminum flat stock, cutting two pieces 3 inches long and drilling two holes. For the two small spacers needed 1/2" nuts or nylon spacers available at the same place you got the aluminum flat stock (any home center). No bending needed. Just drill and go :2_thumbsup:

Sorted! Many thanks to the SBR Forum for their help! The included instructions were at best poor! Thanks again.
