It is a little tricky, but possible to get the straw through the helmet that I wear AFX FX-41. Sure beats waiting until your buddy feels like stopping when you're thirsty.

I use a camel back mule, it has enough space for snacks and few bits and bobs.

Good for water storage in the summer, obviously.

Most of my go to sh*t is in my wolfman enduro tank bag, I like it a lot, has had heaps of abuse over the years, and you can get a lot of stuff in there if ya need to.
