Thats a big loop for the middle of winter. I'd be lucky to complete that in daylight with a gentleman's 9.30am start.

I usually knock off around 1.30 on Tuesday/Wednesdays so when the days get a bit longer I'll head down for a midweek ride.

Excellent Andrew.

Had a good ride on Sunday. Did most of the loop except Wombeyan Caves. I'm organizing a ride for a week this Saturday ( 16th ). Canyonliegh, Swallowtail,Taralga, Wombeyan Caves Rd,Lang Rd, maybe a little look around in the forrest north depending on time and enthusiasm then home through Wombeyan Caves rd to Mittagong. Looking at a 9.30 leave from the Caltex western end of Albion Park. Everyone welcome. All depending on weather of course.

Cheers
Andrew

Well I wont be there Andrew - too cold, wet, and days too short for me to ride far from home.
I'll be keen in a few months. Thanks for offering.

No worries Steve, there will be plenty more rides as the weather warms up. I'll be attending the trials meeting the next day ( 17th ) at the Boniface farm out the back of Kiama as well. I missed last years but it's supposed to be worth a look. Anyone can turn up.

Cheers
Andrew

Is Stan still riding? He must be pushing his 90's.

Makes me feel weak using a nick like OldManAnything. :old:

Just got back from doing the Swallowtail,Wombeyan Caves loop with a few dirt detours thrown in for good measure. Left at 9.30 and got home an hour ago. I feel like I've been around Australia, twice  . Either I'm getting old or that DR is bloody uncomfortable. I'm thinking the latter. I need to get the suspension sorted and a decent seat. Other than that it was a great ride with some top blokes.

Cheers
Andrew
