Probably been done before...but I couldn't find this ...

I'm was finding that when I put the bike on the center stand there wasn't a lot to grab onto for assistance to lift the bike slightly backwards to help razing it on the stand.

Most of my BMW had a small folding handle to assist you...

So I got to thinking what if I installed the right foot peg in the left location as I wasn't using them anyway..

And it worked now I have a small folding handle

Where did you get your centre stand??
I have a crash plate on my DR. Would the centre stand you have fit over the guard??

OK I just found your pictures of your winter project posting.
I see the centre stand would fit even with the bash plate on.
So..
Where did you get your centre stand??
