So...were these issues ever dealt with? It looks as if the cable now comes assembled on the pedal and I see another spring in the picture. Did that take care of it?

Based on the comment on PCs website, it comes with a new return spring. So, that should fix the spring fitment issue.

I doubt the cable comes preclamped to the brake because once the cable is in place you lose the ability to adjust the pedal tip position.

I've got about 1k mikes on mine now and haven't had a problem.

I'm probably overlooking something basic-- but what is the function of that cable that comes packaged with the Warp 9 lever, anyway? :scratch:

RamMan's helpful review and photos don't clear up the mystery...

Keeps the brake from getting bent away from the frame by stray branches, logs, roots, etc..

Its called a brake snake.
