My exhaust is beating the hell out of my license plate. I've put the plate as far left on the "clean up your backside" plate mount and rolled the right edge in towards the left side out of the exhaust trajectory. The LEO V can seems to be mounted strait. Still the exhaust is hitting the plate. Only noticeable at higher rpm's at this point in R&D. Any ideas folks?
Would spacing the can mount out a bit put excess stress on the joints?
I think it's because he has the "clean up your backside" plate mount. I have the stock plate mount and it's fine. Bummer though, because I was liking the "clean up your backside" plate mount. May hold off for now.
I can confirm the exhaust hitting the license plate with the clean up your backside mod. I was always wondering why the quiet insert was sorta loud going up hills hehe. Not that big of a deal though, just a little soot on the backside.
