Great stuff, Dogs are great company.

Some times I think they are better people than us humans.

I've got a 7 yo golden-wire terrier and a 10 rough collie.

The golden can open dead bolts and I'm pretty sure the collie eggs her on.

Just a couple of pics of the boys.

First pic is when I just got the Beagle "Teppo"
home from picking him up, to meet his new Bro "Tucker" Black and Tan Coon hound

I like to name my pets after Buffalo Sabres hockey players, although I didn't
name Tucker.

Bottom Pic is of Teppo trying to howl for the first time. Sounded like Snoopy.

Shrinking progressions....

Growing up we had a German Shepard then toy poodles.....

In my early twenties I got married and got a Great Dane... 38" at the shoulders.

Moved to Michigan in my thirties... we got a Chow/Finnish Spitz mix. Awesome snow dog.

Forties came the Miniature Schnauzer.

Fifties and we ended up with two rat terriers.

I'm nearly sixty now and we have two Chihuahuas.....

I'm thinking after these are gone it will be two mice in a cage....

38" Great Dane, now Chihauhuas :CSpit:

You certainly have tried both ends of the spectrum.

Bet the Chihauhuas make better watch dogs and are more ferocious than the Dane.

There was a case over here in Aus not so long ago, where a family owned a Staffy and a Chihauhua, a would be intruder broke into their home, the Staffy slept through it, but the Chihauhua made enough noise to wake the dead, the intruder was last seen fleeing over the back fence.
