Forum rules

Click on "New Topic" Fill in "Subject" line with your location data in this format: Country, state/province, city. If you are in a large city please include a district, zip code or other place name to help us ensure your entry appears distinct from others. Placing detailed location information in the body of your post is not necessary. Use the body to explain any services, help, riding or accommodations that you are willing to provide. You don't have to offer services or face to face meetings. Your willingness to provide area specific info on riding opportunities, places of interest, etc. is enough to be helpful, and if you have a preferred method of communication you can specify that as well. One of our admin team members will update the map with your location as soon as possible after your post is made.

We've created a new Member Location forum. The forum helps traveling DRRiders members find other members in the area they are planning to visit.

The thought is that a willing member will provide their general location (Country, State/Province, City) in the subject line followed by any type of services offered in the main body of the post. It can be as simple as email/PM help for your location that might be helpful to someone traveling through your neck of the woods (cool riding areas for them to check out) to offering a place to stay the night, tent pitching room, tools/workshop, other tourist opportunities in your area, a cup of coffee or a beer, or maybe just willing to meet up someplace in town for a meal.

To protect privacy you'd handle any specific information through the PM or email system. Please do not post your address or exact GPS coordinates.

This is a very cool idea and another great service that DRRiders can bring to the DR riding community. Thanks to GoFastTTGuy for the awesome suggestion and WoodRat for helping to promote a great idea for the DR community. :good:

Sort by: Subject, ascending or descending format at the bottom of the subject line listings. Please maintain the subject line format for proper search results for those that are using the forum instead of the map.

I've added this sub forum with a fast access option under the Adventure Addicts parent forum... less clicks.... :good:

I ride a 2005 Dr 650. Whole family rides .I am always looking for a new place around my area or for someone to ride with. I am a decent mechanic and can lend a helping hand if someone needs it in the area.
Thanks, Mario
