I ordered an o-ring kit for my DR350 from a supplier I found on ADVRider. The kit is 14 common DR350 o-rings shipped to my door for $9.50...which I think is a really good deal. Some of the components on the 350 are very similar to our 650s so I thought I would do a P/N cross-reference to see which parts would carry over to the 650. Turns out at least half of them do (see list below). I say at least half because OR-1 is two o-rings for the oil return lines on the DR350 which are identical in ID, OD and thickness as far as I can tell to the oil cooler line o-rings on our 650s. The part numbers are different though so maybe there is a material change...I dunno

Just thought I would share in case anyone wants a cheap o-ring source (particularly for the oil filter seal, cover and fill cap o-rings). My cross-reference is based on part numbers for a 1999 DR350SE and a 2008 DR650SE. However, I have not checked all model year DR650s and this kit is for marketed for a DR350 and not a DR650 so order/use at your own risk.

The o-rings can also be ordered individually but shipping drops from $6 to $1 once you go over $5 in parts so effectively there is a $5 minimum order.

I recommend viton for the fuel wetted orings. They do better with regard to swelling, particularly in ethanol blended fuel. Buna-n fine most other places.

Agreed...looks like the seller now has two options:

$10 for all Buna-N
$14 for Viton carb o-rings and Buna everywhere else

I only know him through the DR350 page on ADVRider, but he does appear to be a good person based on his helpfulness...and the fact that he is not price gouging on the o-rings.
