Guessing you use a MAC and safari, I would suggest you to look into Chrome and Firefox. Much better options with hundreds of handy plugins for various purposes.
Firefox for Windows and Mac OS X
Open Options dialog box:
Mac OS X
Click the “Firefox” menu, then click “Preferences.”
In the left-hand column, click the icon labeled “Privacy.”
Click “Cookies,” then click the option labeled “Allow sites to set cookies.
Click “OK” to save changes and close the dialog box.
Safari for Macintosh OS X
Within Safari, click the "Safari" menu and choose "Preferences."
Click the icon labeled "Security."
To enable cookies:
Set the option labeled "Accept Cookies" to "Always."
Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.
Also, when you log in, There is a check box beneath the Username/Password dialog that says some thing like "Keep me logged in automatically". Check that and log in.
