Are there no other riders on DR 650's in Europe?? I'm in Bristol, England

I just bought a '96 UK model a couple of months ago, loving the bike so far

Had a quick look and there are at least 8 members in the UK. I will be back in November and I saw a 2014 bike for sale in Caversham, Reading (Bridge Moto) for £4995 ($8200 US), so if someone has deep pockets there may be another soon.

Hi Streaky,

I was up for buying one of those new ones but it's a cash deal, they won't take a p/x. Nevermind, I'm happy with the old girl I've bought :s_cool

Hello there fellas, I'm in Aberdare and just purchased the Dr from the guy in question, its being imported next couple of weeks. I saw the one advertised on fleabay but didn't have the readys at the time so i kept his details and we've had a deal.
It seems steep on the US price but when you take everything into consideration, import tax, transportation and hey everyone deserves a living, its not that bad.
Bob are you one and the same from the ktm forum?
If so once I get the bike I'll gladly have a little ride out somwhere with you, not to far from me.
Still have my 990 adventure and was almost swayed by the 690 but decided to keep it simple and save a few grand at the same time. The extra cash will farkle the dr to the hilt and make it spot on for me.

Yes I have a 950 ADV, I've had it for six years now. Let .e know when you get your bike and I can take you up the Fosseway or around the Plain.

Cheers, Bob.

Hi all, got my DR about to be shipped from the states. Tried to get one from Bridge, in fact placed a deposit only to get an email a few weeks later saying it was sold to someone else so I'm doing it myself. Not too difficult so far and I should save around a grand too!

Hi all. Just got my first DR650. Bit of a donkey, but will improve it over time. I'm down in Tiverton, Devon. Regards, Carl.
