'bout 15 miles East of downtown San Diego, CA. Endless supply of rides of varying terrain. Generally good weather.

This is for the non-Aussie punters... I live in the left half of Australia and love to play in the 'circle'. It's all desert country... not your Sahara type desert full of dunes but maybe more like your Baja desert. We still have some dunes but they are more like wind-rows but 100 times bigger (I think). Perth is south-west of the circle. It takes me the best part of a days ride to get to the nearest edge of the circle (~400 miles). To give you an idea of scale - according to Wiki the driving distance from LA to NY is 2780 miles. Well, to drive from Perth to Kununurra (north-east corner of WA) is 2000 miles.

See if you can bring some rain with ya (not too much though, I hate mud )... its been as dry as an arabs fart over here (WA) for the last 12 months or more.

I will, we got lots of rain to spare lately, and cold. If I could drill a hole in my floor I'll come out 700 kms south of Albany.
