Where do you live?

Hi,

Live in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Plenty of terrific riding around here. Summer months I mainly ride the mountains in N.E Victoria & the Snowy Mtns, NSW.

then when it chills down I ride to the west.

I live in a little place called Oakdale backed onto the edge of thge Blue Mountains. About 40-50 mins away from Campbelltown. It's good out here, I have a little bit of land(120 acres or so) to ride around in the dirt. Mainly bushland though, but not bad for some trail riding. There are some nice roads out here to ride out on and Eastern Creek is only 40 mins away.

As most of you know i live in darwin, Palmerston actually, but people usually refer to it as palmyslum... :whistling:

I haven't done much riding up here, as my DR650R is still being rebuilt, but i have found literally thousands of tracks out in scrub beyond howard springs, and there are heaps more!
I have mapped nearly all the ones i have found with my Garmin.
The rebuild is moving along now, and should have her running by early feb2012(if the world doesn't end before then!) :woohoo:

Mildura VIC (there's a Mildura in Qld too apparently).

Good tracks along the Murray River, deep sand in Murray Sunset NP, but not much twisty bitumen which is why I traded my TDM900 for a DR :s_thumbsup

I missed the Australia thing too. W.V. is as close to Oz that I will ever get.

I grew up in West Virgini very near K. Walls. I was also lin Perth, Australia for several months and was surprised to see that the terrain and landscaping of the 2 places are very similar.
